Kyrgyz speaking journalists got an additional opportunity to learn about new media, online services, convergent journalism and other tendencies in the media.
Begimai Asanova “Bashat TV”:
“We got a lot of important and necessary information at a webinar. We have many Kyrgyz speaking journalists, so we will wait for similar webinars in the future. The entire team of “Bashat TV” expresses its gratitude.
About 60 people participated at the webinar: “How to create video content which will attract the audience to your website and facebook page”.
The speaker of this event, Elmurat Ashiraliyev, who works at the kloop.kg, talked about Facebook’s algorithms and why a short video that is published on Facebook has a larger audience than a video on YouTube or other websites.
Kanykei Joroeva, “Osh Pirim TV”:
“The last webinar on March 24 was very interesting. Elmurat Ashiraliyev explained to us how we should create or remove a Facebook video, and how long it’s going to take. He gave us very useful advices while participants asked him interesting questions and, as a result, we got some useful information. In general, everybody knows that people all over the world use FB and if we produce better quality videos and show actual problems of our society, I think our videos will have a larger audience. Now I think we will be more successful in the development and promotion of our videos.
The other webinar: ”How to prepare an interesting radio package” taught by BBC Kyrgyz Service Editor Kubat Chekirov was especially useful to journalist. He described the rules and methods of creating interesting radio packages, the most attractive genre for radio listeners.
Jyldyz Orozmatova, TRK “Yntymak”:
” I really liked the webinar from Kubat Chekirov. In general, I think we need to increase the number of Kyrgyz speaking mentors, especially in the field of multimedia. They exist, but we need to cooperate with them to get more from their practice and knowledge because they.“
