The Study Trip to “Yntymak” Was a Success

Representatives of the various media outlets Central Asian from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan attended the event. The visit started with touring Osh city. Journalists had to get to know the city, its inhabitants and their problems while choosing subjects to report on.

At the TV and Radio Company “Yntymak” itself, participants of the study tour could see all working processes in preparation for news, have to know its diverse team employees, and participate in a news-planning meeting.

“Yntymak” is a dynamically developing company created in November 2011 for strengthening of diverse communities and ethnic relations, cross-cultural interactions, unity of the people of the Kyrgyz Republic. As a regional and public broadcaster Yntymak satisfies the needs of the population in independent and objective information with educational, children’s, cultural and entertainment programs. “Yntymak” is the only media in Kyrgyzstan with a news website, TV, radio and the print edition – the BIZ newspaper.

The director of Broadcasting Company “Yntymak”, Daniar Sadiyev, has held sessions with participants and shared his experience on solving the problems he faces on daily basis.

In addition, media experts from Internews in Kazakhstan conducted training on the basics of reporting and the main elements of the materials.

Niyaz Tashmatov, broadcasting company “Osh Pirim”:

“This training was very productive and interesting for me. I want to remember and write down every word, because it is what I needed. Through this study tour and seminars, I found answers to my questions because I had no idea what to do, how to develop. As editor of the site and at the same time as a responsible news department I found more useful information».
